Meta, the company behind Facebook, has announced that starting in 2025, it will produce its Quest 3S mixed reality devices in Vietnam.

Nick Clegg, Meta's President of Global Affairs, stated, "Beginning 2025, Meta will expand manufacturing of its latest Mixed Reality device Quest 3S to Vietnam."

This move shows Meta's growing interest in developing technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual reality (VR).

By expanding production to Vietnam, Meta aims to meet the increasing demand for mixed reality devices and strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, a key region for tech growth.

Quest 3S: Innovation in Mixed Reality

The Quest 3S is Meta's latest device in mixed reality, combining VR and augmented reality experiences.

It features the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor and 8 GB of RAM, offering high performance and an immersive experience for users.

Key features include:

  • Resolution of 1832×1920 pixels per eye, providing clear and detailed images.

  • Field of view of 96° horizontal and 90° vertical, giving users a wide viewing area.

  • Access to over 500 immersive applications, including games, productivity tools, and educational experiences.
